Wander through the history of the Dutch folk costume In a 17th-century listed monument on Herengracht 427, you can marvel at the history of the national traditional Old-Dutch folk costumes from, amongst others, Volendam, Marken, Hindeloopen, Staphorst, Spakenburg and Zeeland. In every separate room, a particular region of the Netherlands is highlighted. The walls of each room have been painted in region-specific colours and patterns.
